THE ENCOUNTER

(^^Think of this as Trent^^)

Once again we have another issue of, "The adventures of Trent." Today's issue is called, "The Encounter!" We find Trent roaming the grounds of the wilderness when he ENCOUNTERS, "purelikefun1." Let's see what happens now.

One dark day (as it always is in the wildy) when Trent was just out roaming as he usually does, He saw it.......The Dragon scimitar! Instantly the battle engaged and it was amazing. Purelikefun1 was very good with a scimitar, but Trent was very good with a DDS. Trent was throwing stabs left and right, but none seemed to hit Purelikefun1. In the spare time Purelikefun1 had time to throw some slashes of the scimitar, but none of those hit due to Trent's shield. Trent was finding no weakness in his opponent until he finally tried a little magik, ancient style. As soon as he found some time to use a little mage to give himself a break he stopped his opponent from moving for a total of 10 seconds. With the time he had to spare he used his magik to power himself up and make his DDS shine for a moment. Then time was up and Purelikefun1 was coming at him. Now he made his move, he threw DDS at Purelikefun1, but Purelikefun1 was no n()()b. He quickly dodged and gave a quick slash of the scimmy to wound Trent in the left arm. Then Purelikefun1 noticed Trent move his hand as if using magic. (HINT, see first issue) As soon as Purelikefun1 had seen that move he turned around to see the DDS coming at him fast! Then he held up a red book and stopped the DDS in its tracks. As soon as Purelikefun1 was reaching for the DDS to pull it out of the book, Trent used magik to pull it out of the book and put it in his hand instead of Purelikefun1's hand. As the battle went on Trent and Purlikefun1 got exhausted and tired. Then one thing happened that Purelikefun1 didn't see coming..... Trent took out a DRAGON LONG SWORD! He must have bought it during his last trip to the bank. Instantly he made the attack, putting down his shield so he could use his DDS like a second sword. He was glowing in a blue haze around him giving him some extra power to finish the fight! The next thing that happened was amazing, Trent jumped up into the air and then while he was in the air he threw his DDS down to runescape to slice the book that Purelikefun1 was holding in half. On his way back down to earth Trent slammed his Dragon Long Sword down on Purelikefun1's Dragon scimitar. Even though Purelikefun1 was giving all his power t0 a slash that he thought might end it all, Trent's attack blew Purelikefun1's scimitar to the ground and while Trent was bringing down his attack he was also using some magik to bring the DDS up to his hand and as soon as the Dragon Scimitar was out of Purelikefun1's hand, Trent Yelled and threw the hardest stab he had ever thrown directly into Purelikefun1's chest. This sent Purelikefun1 flying back a couple yards. Now that Trent had won the battle he was exhausted as collapsed to the ground laughing to himself. Once he got back up he took the Dragon Scimmy as a battle token.

That was a wonderful battle. Wish I could've been there to see it.

War Between The Moonclan and the Muffinclan

In a time before the first person ever won $1,000,000 on "Who Wants To Be a Millionaire," There was a war.......on runescape though. The war was between the Moonclan and the Muffinclan. Only for the God that they worshiped. The Moonclan worshiped the moon, and they liked the dark beacause it was the time of day when they got to go Trick Or Treating. They thought that when it was half it wanted them to have battle with the nearest tribe. That tribe was the Muffinclan. The Muffinclan worshiped the, "All sweet," Muffin King. There prophets said that one day the Muffin King would come down and make all of they're food so sweet that they would have a sugar rush after every bite. Each of the clans had they're own unique weapons. The weapons were rather cruddy. The Moonclan used wooden darts with the weight inside of the dart. And they used plastic bags as Shields. The Muffinclan used spears with sugar and spice with everything nice, WHAT THE HECK!! Why was I rhyming.......oh well, they were tipped with Cinnamon sugar. And they used lots of popsicle sticks glued together to make shields.





Once the war broke out, everybody was all tense. People from both tribes were starting to join there forces. The Moonclan's warriors were called the, "Moon wusses." The Muffinclan's warriors were called, "Sweet sugar." When forces met they started in lines and before they clashed the warriors yelled insults at each other like, "Out of date candy,"And, "Sunny side up!"

once they hit there was lots of yelling and crying and lots of sugar. The Muffinclan chief was hit by a flying dart. He lost an eye and is now called, "To-fough-won-goh-vof," which translated means "Chief that got hit by a flying dart and lost an eye from it," now he wears an eye patch. As for the other chief he got a bump on his head from a flying spear. His medics called it a sugar bump. They also said that unless he shaved his head bald with the same spear that made the bump, It would turn into a VERY bright second face. So as the battle went on both tribes suffer small losses and Very small wounds. The victor of the battle was the Moonclan Because every time a spear was thrown at them they could eat of the whole tip.

The Muffinclan went home all sad and angry. The prophets said that this would be the one and only time the Muffinclan would loose in a battle. "To-fough-won-goh-vof," turned out to be really mad and said, "to-oghoe-homlcoe-oeiucli-ouelkcls-eroilclsi!" Which means "I can't believe a stupid dart knocked out my stinkin' eye!"

The Moonclan went home all happy and joyful. For they believed that they won because they had wood and plastic to fight with instead of food. They were not so happy for their chief, his name was, "mughf-nugh-ronec-dof," Which translated means, "Wuss chief with a sugar bump on his head."


Now came the FINAL BATTLE that there was to be in this itty-bitty war. This battle was called the same name by both tribes, "Houncs-douro," which means as a matter of fact, FINAL BATTLE. This battle was the 2nd and last of the whole war.


It all started Late at night when the moonclan is seen the best, THEY FIRED!! Darts were flying through the air everywhere. If you were looking at the battle from up in the sky you probably would have gotten hit by a flying dart. Gosh! That was amazing said the wuss chief from the Moonclan after they had fired there darts and made them rain down on the Muffinclan village like......uh.....rain I guess. As soon as the Rain had stopped falling everybody inside the barracks came out and started to rain down theirs spears on them. While the men were fighting the ladies were making more tasty spears. As for the Moonclan, all of their ladies were at home waiting for the heros to come home. In this case the heros are all of the Muffinclan. Because the Moonclan's warriors, aka the moon wusses, were not so smart, they were such wusses that they only carried 5 darts each. So very soon all of the moonclans warriors had their hands up and were walking toward the jugdes office to be jugdes worthy of even a jail cell. Instead of that when they came there The jugde was not there. It was the CHIEF! Everybody was to be sentenced to the sugar feilds if it wasn't for their leader. He had decided he was tired of worshiping the moon. The Muffinclan chief was also tired of waiting day after day for the Muffin King to come down from the sky and make food oh so good. So they both decided a new god, THE MOONPIE! Even though they had nothing on it they still liked the sound and taste of this new god.


So up to this day both tribes worship the god MOONPIE.

THE FIGHT

(This is all made up and wasn't actually done by somebody, and neither of the people are real)



Trent was once a mighty warrior who walked the wilderness with his trusty DDS, Anti Drag Shield, Rune pl8, Rune legs, runes+ancient magiks, 99 mage, 60 attack, and finally 99 strength.



Well now he's a old geeserd who just plays games in the Burthorpe Games Room.



But one of his greatest stories is the one when he encountered rangyweirdo5346. I'll tell you about it now.......





It all started when Trent was out roaming and then he heard two arrows flying through the air with great speed. Then he thought, "Oh my gosh, DARK BOW!!" and instantly held up his shield and both arrows stuck into the shield. Immediately he drew his DDS and ran toward rangyweirdo5346. By now rangyweirdo5346 had reloaded and fired the arrows again. This time he wasn't as quick and one arrow hit his arm. He bore the pain and pulled out the arrow and then quickly used a spell to crumble the other arrow in mid-air, so by the time it hit him it was just an arrow shaft. Then he used a super defense potion to heal up his wound. Now this time he was ready for the arrows. As soon as they were in the air he had already thrown up his dagger and sliced the arrow in half and used a quick throw of his hand to bring it back down to his hand. With the other hand he simply raised it and he had the arrow in his hand in pieces. So now he was able to run up and give rangyweirdo5346 a quick stab. But the stab was off and only hit his shoulder. Now rangyweirdo5346 was also poisoned with super poison. Trent was now able to get a good look at his opponent. He saw the Dark Bow, Black d'hide chaps and black d'hide vambraces. Now he knew his opponent was a range pure.(pure means only skill trained) He now backed up because his opponents arrows were coming strait for him. He used a quick spell and burned one arrow out of the sky. Then he twisted his DDS to its blunt side and knocked the other arrow to the ground. He got a quick view of rangyweirdo5346 and saw that he clutched his chest for a couple of seconds and then got a grim face. Now he knew that he could not win. So now he was going to try to run. It was his last option. If he tried to shoot Trent again he would keep destroying the arrows using magic. Then he would get stabbed in the chest with the DDS while he was reloading. Then the other problem was that he might die of the poison. If he tried to run he would get stoped by magic and then Trent would kill him. Now in Trent's mind things were looking up. He knew he had won the battle. He also knew a way to trap rangyweirdo5346 from moving from his spot for a total of 15 seconds. Now he knew what to do. He used his mage and quickly threw his DDS strait at rangyweirdo5346. Rangyweirdo5346 was able to dodge the DDS and wield a much faster weapon, a Magic Short Bow. He now used the special as fast as he could, But it was no use. By the time he had used the special Trent was out of the way. Rangyweirdo5346 then saw Trent shove his hand forward as if he was using mage........ then rangyweirdo5346 remembered that the DDS had not returned to Trent.......yet. Then all of a sudden rangyweirdo5346 fell to the ground never to fire another arrow. after the battle was over Trent took back his DDS out of rangyweirdo5346's back. He also took rangyweirdo5346's Dark Bow as a prize and then was on his way back to the mainland.

Here is another edition of, "THE DAILY RUNE."

Today we have found out that when you go to somebody's guilded alter with the icon of bob and the burners lit that big bones will then give you 53xp per bone. For those of you who have done the quest "Creature Of Frenkenstrain" you can obviously train on the experiments in the basement; but one thing that I know allot of people would like is that they would drop something. All that they drop is bones. We have also found that Runehq has a flaw with it's monster database. It says that the experiments will drop all of the free user gems (uncut).

MISCELLANEOUS

Here is a story all made by, catmon007. Found it on the forums.


The door blew open as Kian kicked it down, Armed guards turned at his abrupt entrance. He took a double-take on the room. It was long with two staircases on eighter side, leading up to an overhanging landing opposite the broken door. Warlord Slarin stood at the top of this landing looking down. "You will perish for interfering with us you fool!" "Funny," Kian said "I came to ensure YOU perished" Slarin laughed "Kill him!" and walked away from the railing. Soldiers moved in on Kian, he drew up his handcrafted dragon blade sword* and paused while the soldiers circled. *Kind of like a light dragon twohander, made for speed. It had a few extra points curling around from the handle Kian leapt, taking a soldier in the face with his armoured boot, and did a two-handed slash decapatating another warrior. He spun a 180' and slashed through the steel armour from crotch to sternum of his first **sliant. The soldiers were stunned by the the attack, but not for long Two more advanced on him with their swords, Kian ducked the blows and came up with a Hollywood two foot kick to each of them. By now the rest of the soldier company had caught up, Kian jumped agilely onto the railing, and ice barraged the lot of them. He caught his breath. More warriors entered the room, Kian hefted his sword. "This is where the fun begins" The commander of the group ordered his troops forward. "Take him" Kian back flipped from the landing, impaling one soldier. He pulled out the bloodied sword, blocked one man's attack, spun and bound one man in the air with magic out of his flying leap. He drew his Dragon dagger and threw it expertly behind him. A sound was heard from the man who fell from the magic's grasp, but Kian didn't notice. A swordsman gashed his left arm, Kian twisted and removed the man's head. He called his dagger to him through magic, but let it pass him into a charging soldier where he withdrew it. That's when the arrows began to fire.


Well.......that was action packed......

2 ways 2 get rich on RS

1: For all the low level n()()bs a good way to get rich instead of macroning the woodcutter then why don't you try Making bowstrings.(members only) Simple way really. It provides good crafting xps too. First head to the Gnome Stronghold because that's also the Fletching paradise. When you go through the gate then head a little ways north-east and there will be flax and 3 or 4 spinning wheels. After you have gotten a full load of flax you have to go up one of the stairs to the houses and the spinning wheel will be over there. You can just click on the spinning wheel and choose the "Spin X" option. Enter 28 (or just how many you have) and sit back and relax because this is the only time you will get to. When you have finished making all of the bowstrings then leave the house and a bank is a little bit west of there where you can put all of the bowstrings and then continue the process over and over again until you have all that you want.
When you have finished the process then you can either post a tab on the Forums and sell your bowstrings or you can use them yourself. (down further)


2: For those of you who are not afraid to take a little damage then you are best off fighting Hill Giants (lvl 28). (you don't have to be member to do this) In order to get into the dungeon where they are on a free user world you have to have a brass key. When you are fighting them focus on only taking the big bones. Keep on doing this until you have 1k big bones. (if you are on a free user world make sure it has a low population) Once you have all of the big bones you can sell them all to somebody by the varrok west bank for 150 each. A grand total of 150k.

THE DAILY RUNE

We are increasing the number of rooms that high-level builders can build in their houses. On top of that, we've added a new feature to your 'equipped' interface that will show you which items you'll get to keep if you die.


This is braking news! We have just found out that Call Of Dope has been killed on a mage run in the wilderness. (call of dope is one of Mr. man60's friends) What he lost wasn't the best but he liked it. From one small 20 minute run he went from level 14 mage to level 21 mage. Reporters questioned him about how he died and he says that it was his friends fault for running back toward the person that stopped attacking him. As soon as he was attacked his friend started for the homeland but didn't make it before he died. But he says that the person that was following him wasn't the one that killed him. instead he got killed by 2 people who were walking into the wilderness. So instead of death by the steel scimitar he was killed buy a Dragon Dagger supper poisoned. He concluded that the person that killed him was obviously a strength pure with level 60 attack.

For those of you who have a maul of some sort then be careful when dueling with your maul! You have to remember that when you are dueling that you or your opponent should never turn off the shield position on the first screen or you will not be able to use your maul. Please remember all of this unless you have another GOOD or better weapon with you.


MISCELLANEOUS

If you would like to join the =Order of the Phoenix=+ member clan is open for recruitment. To try to get into this clan you must have at least, 80+ combat mage or ranged. If you would like to find out more about this clan then you can look at their forums page.

The daily Rune

I have decided to make a new newspaper for runescape stuff. As you can see it will be called "The Daily Rune" and I will post things that are new on runescape and some other things maybe.

Another fun wepsite that has lots of Fun games is miniclip. You oughta go there.

RS tip of the day

NEVER Trade a *Rune Hally for only a rune kite sheild, rune long and any fish that sounds cruddy.(anything above lobster is good enough) Because a rune hally is worth 90k-100k, and a rune long is only worth 20k tops, and a rune kite sheild is worth 45k-50k. Oh and even if it tastes good in real life, it doesn't mean it heals a lot in runescape.
